These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MODUX mobile application ("MODUX", "the app", "we", "our", "us"), operated by Modux Software, Vancouver, BC, Canada. By downloading, accessing, or using MODUX, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
MODUX is a training app for hybrid athletes that lets you log strength and running workouts, track recovery and training load, follow training programs, and optionally connect Strava and Apple Health. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use MODUX for your own non-commercial training.
You must be at least 17 years old to use MODUX. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.
MODUX provides general fitness and training information. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional medical guidance, diagnosis, or treatment. The Interference Score, training recommendations, calorie targets, and all other outputs are informational only. Consult a qualified physician before beginning any exercise or nutrition program, and stop and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, or other symptoms. You use MODUX and act on its information at your own risk.
MODUX offers an optional paid subscription, MODUX Pro, which unlocks premium features.
MODUX offers a free tier with core features. We may change which features are free or paid over time, with notice in the app.
You are responsible for activity under your account. Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and all associated data anytime in the app: Profile > Delete Account.
You agree not to: misuse or interfere with the app or its servers; reverse-engineer or extract source code except as permitted by law; use the app for unlawful purposes; or abuse referral or trial mechanics (e.g., fraudulent or automated sign-ups). We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
MODUX integrates with third-party services you choose to connect, including Apple HealthKit, Strava, and infrastructure providers (Supabase, RevenueCat, Expo). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
MODUX, its name, logo, design, and content are owned by Modux Software and protected by applicable law. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks or branding.
MODUX is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Modux Software is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the app or reliance on its information. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
